Jocko,

It appears impossible to trace anything to do with the lake eerie reissues, no online suppliers seem to be selling it, so even though it is available on ebay, I have come to the conclsion that these are bootlegs.  As for the One World/Willie Remembers reissue I would say after hearing it that it is a bootleg.  The quality is awful, the Willie Remembers section sounds like it is taped from a very poor quality vinyl copy.  I may be wrong but it all sounds a bit weird.......

John, You are absolutly correct. These are all bootlegs I have since found out. I already had the original Motown In Concert CD and a few months back I happened upon a small little independent music shop. The owner bragged to me "I can get any CD you want" so I put him to test and told him to find me In Concert. To my suprise he left a message telling me he that my CD hade come in. He swore he obtained it through legit channels but I don't know about that. After this I did a little looking around and came across the others. I had read on another thread that there might be some upcoming legit releases and thought maybe these were them. Not a chance. I never played the In Concert but the One World/Willie Remembers is just as you say. Poor quality sound, incorrect song listings, I could go on and on. I'm sure the same goes for the double Get Ready/Ecology double CD that has popped up recently on e-bay. Thanks for the heads up and I should have waited for a response. I hope that others will not be as foolish after reading this. JockoD

It is sad but true. This Lake Erie Records release is an unauthorized bootleg. The only official release is the Motown issue. Any reissue is bootleg and has not been authorized. The Motown issue has a distinguished army green circle on plaid faded yellow-green cover art. The disc is silver with blue print only and no other colors to speak of with the Motown logo. The mirror band or matrix on the playing side has the numbers 3746354432. I have 2 of them in my library not to mention a nice wall plaque. I will see if I can post a picture of disc and art work.
