 Thanks Jimmy,

I wish the audio was lossless but to answer your question: that is Mark Olson.

The Biz is a great song.

The Biz eventually became All or Nothing and was featured on the Live In Switzerland album.  Saw them perform The Biz in 83 and 84 with Mark singing lead.

I often wonder whether Mark would have contributed to this forum had he still been with us. I get the impression that John Persh might have, Eddie probably not, as I see him as quite a private person. I'm not sure about Mark though. I reckon he might have contributed on the forum, especially with Ray posting. I bet he'd have had lots of questions to answer.

I like the way you think Dave smile How about a Boddington's?

From what Ray has posted about Mark, I get the impression he was a very outgoing guy and would've made a great contributor to this site. I'd say the same for Eddie but Eddie might've been more private. Only Ray, Pete & Gil would know.

Come to think of it, Eddie & Mark already have contributed...via the music biggrin

Eddie was the friendliest guy to the fans so I would say he would have. Anyone who met him felt the warmth.

I sensed that Mark was a bit shy and humble when I interviewd him in 1984, but he was so kind and generous that I couldn't imagine him not contributing to the forum.

Also, Eddie was so outgoing, I feel he would have also contributed. Furthermore, I think he would have been thrilled and grateful from all the interest in him and Rare Earth in general.

So, Eddie was friendly to fans and outgoing? It seems I'm way off the mark by thinking he was quiet and private then.

I wouldn't have imagined Mark to be shy. Sounds like I'm wrong on that count too.
