Found dead in his hotel room in the early hours whilst on holiday in Spain. He was just 58 years old.

..SADLY TODAY HAD PASSED AWAY THE BEST ELECTRIC WHITE BLUES GUITAR OF THE WORLD,GARY MOORE DIED AT 58 YEARS OLD IN SPAIN IN FAMILY HOLIDAYS,I DON'T KNOW IF RARE EARTH HAS A LINK WITH HIM,BUT THE ROCK AND BLUES FAMILY WILL HAVE A FUNERAL NEXT DAY,RARE EARTH FANS PLAYING TODAY IN MEMORY OF GARY MOORE HIS BEST HIT "STILL GOT THE BLUES" NO MORE, I DON't KNOW HOW TO PUT THE VIDEO IN THIS FORUM FROM YOUTUBE IF I KNOW I PLACE TODAY IN IT.

Heard about his death just this morning,way to young to leave this world.

I recommend any here to check out his 1995 cd "Blues For Greeny", an homage to Flettwood Mac guitarist Peter Green. There's some fantastic playing on that disc. You'd almost swear it was Peter Green. Gary owned Peter's famous Les Paul as well, which he played on that album.

It's refreshing to watch a player speak through his/her playing.
