Hello, I'm answering your post this way because I'm having trouble loading the thread you posted on.I still have the CD The B-Techs and continue to play it, a great album cover by the way.I think it is a good album, I was sorry to hear that the band broke up. If I remember correctly I saw you guys first in 2006 at Spanky's, or what ever it was called, it seems everytime we go there it has a different name. Then 2007 at the Townhouse.I remember going to Calais '08&'09 festivals and hoping to see your guys show.We missed the 2010 festival. As I type this I've got the CD playing,From Now To The End, I thought was a great tune. Are you in a new band?If so, let me know, we are planning to go to the 2011 Festival, maybe we'll hear you play again.Keep in touch, the guys on this site are a good lot.

The B-Techs:Mike McLean -vocals, bass, Shane R. Sawtelle - lead, rhythm guitars, bass, vocals, Jerry Mori - drums, percussion, Josh Vermette- rhythm guitars,  P.J. Daggett - bass, lead, rhythm guitars.

I took this off the inside CD cover, did I miss anyone?

I just happened upon this tonight.  I'm not living in the Calais area anymore, I'm in Bangor now and I've played on and off with a handful of people, but I just can't seem to relive whatever it was that made The B-Techs so special to me!  I'm still in touch with Jerry and Mike.  We talk about old times once in a while on Facebook.  I'm not sure what version of the CD you have, but if it's one with the 4 cartoon images on it, that artist is now pretty damn popular!  His name is Fabio Napoleoni (think I spelled that right) and he's selling his artwork all over the world now!  We reunited for a 1 night show at the Townhouse last year.  I think we played the last Saturday of festival.  There were around 300 people who turned out, I doubt they were all there to see us....ha ha ha.  We had a great time, but when it was over, it was over.  I just gave Mike an old drumset I had lying around in a friends basement, and Jerry now lives in N.H. and still plays quite a bit.  I just bought a new guitar last month, the 3 of us love playing together but there are lots of miles between us all and hardly enough money to do it all again.  'sigh'.....where did the good times go?

Good to hear from you again, yes the B-Techs CD I have is the one with the cartoon images on it.It is good to hear you guys played together again, even if it was a one off,you guys had a great sound, but hell life goes on.We missed the Festival again last year it was one of those forgetable years.I know how crowded the Townhouse would have been that night, must have been a hell of a line up for bathroom biggrin it's not the biggest bar in the world.I can remember the last time I was at the Townhouse there were girls dancin' on the bar gettin' tips for drinks.smile Man I can't remember the last time I was in Bangor, always liked that town, like Calais always had a good time.Good to hear your still playing, keep in touch.

It's funny how I happen upon this from time to time.  As of tonight, myself, Mike (btechs singer) are going to play together in a new band here in Bangor.  Mike still lives in Calais, but we're going to pitch in for gas and travel expenses for him to get back and forth for rehearsals.  I've got a drummer from another local band who is incredible.  New bassist I have yet to hear play.  Can't remember if I mentioned it or not in the last post, but the album cover was cartoon images of myself, Mike, Jerry (drummer) and a 4th member who rotated between 3 or 4 different people.  Fabio Napoleoni was the artist who is doing quite well for himself these days and I'm thinking that the original album cover drawing (kept by Mike's ex wife) would fetch a handsome penny these days.  Not 6 figures, but people are getting tattoos of Fabio's stuff as we speak, so maybe 4 figures?  ha ha ha

I'll let you know about this "new" band and when we'll be playing.  Maybe we'll get to shake hands somewhere down the road.  Be well my friend!
