I wonder if somebody at VH1 is gonna *nip* this for *their* broadcast purposes?
Ennyroad, great clip to have in *OUR* archives, eh?
(N.B.- CNN, since YOU are a part of the Time Warner family...the *same* family that gave me the air after 7 years of service, I'm GLAD that YOU didn't get to do this interview with Pete! A *POX* on you and EVERYTHING Time Warner! Nyaaaahhh!!)
Thanks T3....I was there at the venue and met the interviewer(he call himself McCrackin) and he is so clue less about the band and I tried to tell him about this site and he could have cared less and was not interested....The man had a huge ego...however he did all right on the interview with Pete....
You were at the Bensenville, IL show in 2009? Well, I too was there and mentioned this site to him and like you said, he couldn't have cared less. I share your thoughts form your post. McCrakin doesn't know what he is missing, but then again, I guess he wouldn't post a video on youtube of himself typing a post. -LOL
Was a good show, though I did miss the late Dennis Noda.
looks like I need to organize a, perhaps first ever, "Rare Earth World Fan Meet" prior to the Chicago area Rare Earth and Classic Rock All Star shows.
Yeah I was there...If I remember right.. Was this the day they had threatening weather?? I was there in bensonville twice and cras brought down the house...I also saw them in Kalamazoo in June and crowd just went nuts!! No matter where they go, CRAS always comes and delivers...Well if they come near to Chicago again I will try to make it I would to take you up on that meet and greet thing....
Yea, that was the show that I was looking for you. I went up to that McCrakrin guy and asked him if his name was Tommy. He couldn't have been more unfriendly and aloof.
Funny thing is I had asked him if his name was Stuart. LOL Perhaps we are being a bit hard on the fellow, he is a fan of Rare Earth and Peter in particular. Though primarily online, this forum is a community, and generally a very friendly one at that, maybe our expectations were more optimistic than this chaps reality?
Bottom line is, I'm glad to be here and am already checking the 2010 schedules. I resolve to put more emphasis on trying to organize some Chicago area "meet-&-greets" at the shows.
He is a nice guy just trying to do his thing. I only wish I had a makeup artist before the interview It was raining out and my sinusus were in an uproar. Not my best showing. I really don't enjoy seeing myself off guard like that. But it is what it is and thanks for taking an interest in the interview. Anything I can do to enlighten. I'm there. Peter
Right on Chicago Tommy and Pete. I didn't mean to sound too negative, but I was just taken aback a bit by his response to me...but whatever. Looking forward to seeing you, Chicago Tommy and Pete in 2010.
