A little *treat* fer youse all that ya *may* or may *not* remember...
This is the closing tune (And my ALL-TIME UBER-MEGA-ULTRA RAVE-FAVE) from a 1970 Motown LP; Issued on the Rare Earth label, and produced by The Much Regretted Ollie McLaughlin, G.R.H.S. (He also produced "Funky Rubber Band" for Popcorn Wylie)
The LP was entitled "Paradise Lost" by an ensemble known as The LOST NATION.
No other graphics or visuals here, mind you, merely the front sleeve featuring the gang, and some clever (And to this day...*still* rather timely) mock graffiti.
wow, thanks TTTT ! great find! Thats pure 70`progressive sound with clean Hammond B3 /guitar solo trip!
Some other bands like Crabby Appleton,Show Of Hands,Indian Summer,Mogul Thrash,Black Widow,Cressida (Vertigo VO 7) 1970. Asylum (Vertigo 6360 025) 1971. Both Cressida albums can be used as an example of what is interesting and worthwhile about UK progressive rock.
...,....brings back grat memories about great time in music history!
One other thing about the vignette footage that I *just noticed*..
It's a VERY DIFFERENT back sleeve shot than the one that was issued on LP in 1970. That one was a full shot of the gang huddled around a world globe against a black background .. there was no white border with the track listing. *THIS* one looks sorta like it *might* be a CD reissue...or mebbe a Non-US pressing.
