I thought I would let you know that Dennis Noda formerly of Cannibal and the Headhunters was our Bass Player in The Classic Rock All Stars for 17 years. Dennis will be missed as he has passed as of May 19th 2009. I know some of you readers have seen the band and will know of Dennis. He was a loyal and supportive guy who always gave his best and loved the audience. He did a lot of work around the LA area too. He wrote charts and recorded numerous commercials. He was very busy and sought after by producers and artists. Dennis suffered a series of Heart Attacks and Strokes. He fought hard and gave it a real gallant effort. He enjoyed people and always was gracious to the fans. The Classic Rock All Stars thank him for his devotion.

Words really can't convey how sorry I am to hear such news. I'll keep you, Jerry, Mike and Dennis' family & friends in my thoughts and prayers. I consider myself lucky to have met Dennis last year when I saw the band in Clear Lake. Were it not for him, I'd not have come backstage before the show. I'll never forget that. He really was a gentleman and a great musician. Heaven just gained another great musician. I think it's time spin some CRAS and Headhunters music. It may be 1:00 am but it's fitting.

I am shocked to hear the news,Mike sums up the way I feel as well......I know is with the father....
This is truly sad news. I had the pleasure of meeting Dennis in June 2008 after a CRAS show in Bensenville, IL. Dennis was a friendly guy and he always looked like he was having the time of his life on stage. Dennis, and his band mates will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I got word that Larry Prentis, a bass player from Detroit will fill in for Dennis at the Kalamazoo Festival this June 5th for CRAS.......Hope to see some of you there....
What sad, terrible news Pete. I've seen the CRA many, many times and Dennis was always so friendly and cool. He looked like he was always having such a great time up there and appreciated his role in the band. I can hear him now saying "Please help me with my song," when performing Land of A Thousand Dance. May God bless your soul Dennis.
WHAT?! Omg!! We have been through so much these last couple of years, Jeff lost his business, we have moved 6 times in 18mos we had our daughter May 29th 2009, We had No Idea! Jeff just thought to himself "I should check out the Classic Rock All Stars website to see whats going on" then we find this news out.. :( I might have only met him once but He was such a nice guy! I always tell people how i shared a plate of sauteed mushrooms with Dennis Noda and how he called me a sweet heart :) :) :) Jeff says Hi And we Both Wish you all the best
i couldn't agree more!!! my wife and i have seen the classic rock all stars twice, we met each and every one of the band members. they signed our cd we purchased. i have never met a greater bunch of guys in my life, including dennis!! i was so saddened to hear of his passing and my thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the entire noda family. i sure hope you guys continue to play on, dennis would want it that way. i live in reading, pennsylvania and i hope you guys come back to play here again some time!!! to the classic rock all stars, thank you for playing the hits my wife and i grew up listening to, may god continue to bless all of you guys, we love you!!!!
Ohhh, I am sooo sorry to hear that, Pete. We really enjoyed your concert at Misericordia, and even just the other day, I recalled what a nice conversation I had with Dennis in the Greenroom. He made me feel so at ease, and actually took the time to ask me questions about myself, which floored me! I'm not the famous one here. Dennis is remembered with much fondness. I met you all in Grayville IL, after your AWESOME show. One of, if not the best I've ever seen. Dennis Noda was a great bass player, and a Super Nice Guy. Still got a pick he gave me. Always hoped to see you ALL again.
