Well... I'd gone through 7 copies on vinyl and finally found a copy on CD, but there's still one song on "One World" that I can't figure out all the words to. Searches on the 'Net haven't helped, so I'm hoping someone will happen along here and be able to post the lyrics to Any Man Can Be a Fool. It'd be greatly appeciated!!!
Mr. Barber - I appreciate the offer, but I'm leary about posting an email address online - I get enough garbage in my inbox as it. I keep coming back to this page, thinking I'll just do it and get my lyrics, but I just can't. Thanks again anyway.
The bootleg I have has Willie Remembers on it, too. One World doesn't sound bad at all - certainly better than the snap crackle and pop LP I have. The Willie Remembers tracks, on the other hand, have some "sound issues". I forget where I got it online, but a little Googling should bring it up.
When i was was a little boy, mama said to me...any man can be a fool, a man is hard to be...Any man can be a fool, a man is hard to be...I went through life, my waist was fast, and many times i played, i found my thoughts had washed away, the truth in what she said...Any man can be a fool,a man is hard to be, any man can be a fool, and what will be,will be...Any man can be a fool, a mans so hard to be, any man can be a fool, and what will be, will be....Time did pass,so did she,i've learned from life, you see...I hear her voice, it's oh so strong,a man is hard to be...any man can be a fool, a man is hard to be...any man can be a fool, and what will be, will be...
My email for the Rare Earth lyrics: terrythai10@yahoo.com. I'm a music fanatic!! I love trying to figure out lyrics. Stumped me around, "Went through life, my waste grew fast??" Pretty sure he wasn't filling out his jeans...
"My waist was fast" was actually in the song "Any Man Can Eat Too Much Food", which was the original Persh composition, which was modified by Motown Records at the last minute to the current form.
