Hi Mark,
I have discovered that Warner Bros. and You Tube have parted ways, so, a LOT of videos and entire channels are being yanked! It won't be long before RE songs will disappear from there as well.  I guess the record companies are fit to be tied.
I sent an email to Allen Pamplin, the owner  of that channel, but have not herd from him, but, a friend, whose entire channel was yanked, told me this.  I've noticed several that I frequented( commercials & sitcoms from my childhood) are disappearing left and right.  It makes me sick. It was the only way to escape the insanity that is on today's television, without completely giving it up. I don't indulge in the sitcoms and TV shows on nowadays, and much prefer the innocence of days gone by.  Guess I'll have to find some other way.

Waren shouldn't have any say in the Cal Jam stuff. That material is linked to ABC TV. And as for any RE audio, that's linked to Universal/Motown...they're not linked to Warner. I'll send Allen an email myself.

I'm taking a guess that "Mr. Anonymous/ Copywrighter dude" is unable to pass the legal bar exam (if situated in the USA), and tries to hold court wherever he or she can.

Another possibility is the individual suffers from "Faceinassadosis" known in certain sectors as "cranialrectalinversion."

Finger Lickin' Good  biggrin That reminds me, I have an old jingle for "Kentucky Fried Chicken" that Murry Wilson (Brian Wilson's dad) sang in the late 60's. Very vintage sounding.

We should get Pete to sing some jingles for food places. Remember Bob's Big Boy? Just kididng Pete. I had to throw that out there becuase of your burger story smile

Sorry Steve, I think most of us are giving Mr. Copywriter a hard timewink..We are all wondering what is going on as well...Mr. copywriter is entitled to his/her opinion..if you read the threads posted before you understand about the food thing...I wish Allen would respond as well...I guess we got to keep trying...hmm

Hi, yes they were yanked. I am working on a California Jam Fan Club website that will have all the California Jam videos. It's still in progress: www.californiajamfanclub.com  ...until then I will put the 1974 Cal Jam videos back up on youtube around august, please be patient. The Fan Club website will also have a library with over 2000 California Jam documents, letters and contract combind. Rare memorabilia, chat room, California Jam Theater, Club store, and a quarterly California Jam Fanzine called: "The California Jammer". All coming in 2010. P.S. I have a line on the complete Rare Earth performance at the California Jam, we'll see if it pans-out. Right now I have two of the four songs they played at the Jam.
