I love the stare that Eddie is giving in the first photo.
Now that I think of it, every photo I see of Rare Earth gives the impression they were/are are bunch of down to earth guys. No fancy duds. Just normal, everyday clothes.
But couldn't you just imagine these guys all in rhinestone studded white jumpsuits a la Elvis in the early 1970's? Or how about flannel shirts, demin jeans, chaps, boots and stetson hats? Or better yet: all in powder blue leisure suits. Just kidding guys. All due respect earned and well deserved.
Looks like an outtake form the phot session that produced the phot for the inner sleeve for Ma. They all have on the same clothes.
Both of the photos in this post...Ray has the same belt buckle. NO, I don't obsess over photos. I do have a life ya know I just notice those small/odball things I suppose.

I'm sure Ray can handle my lame sense of humour Mike lol. I took a bigger risk taunting Peter about the burger stories and he took it in the spirit it was meant (thankfully!!).

Dave,
I meant to put a smiley face in there. Ray is one hell of a nice guy and has a good sesne of humor. Peter does too.
I could picture Peter in his younger days wolfing down a few burgers. Just kididng Peter.
WOW! Just received a CD recorded from a friend in San Diego. It has the 45 minute COMPLETE unedited set of Rare Earth's performance from the California Jam. Unbelievable quality.
