I'm hoping that Ray, Peter or Gil might pass comment on this one.

I was looking back through Roger Dean's book called "Views" which was published in 1975. On Page 35 his painting used for the inside of the One World album is featured. Motown wanted to use it for the outer sleeve but they set a tight deadline of "about a week" for delivery of the artwork to Detroit, a deadline which Roger was unable to meet. Motown ended up using an alternative outer sleeve (funny, but I can't help thinking that I see it every now and then on the internet somewhere LOL). Well, no complaints from me. I think the front sleeve of One World is just as good as the inner.

Anyway, Roger states that he went to LA to meet the band to discuss future projects. I just wonder if Peter, Gil or Ray have any recollections of meeting Roger Dean?

He also designed a Rare Earth logo which, according to the book, was only ever used in England. Personally I can't recall seeing it used over here and just wondered if any of the UK fans (who have the book) recall seeing it used anywhere?
