Thanks for the compliments fellas. It blew my mind when you guys mentioned "The Islander".I havent listened to that song since we recorded it.Im not sure if i even have a copy of it."Down By The Pond With Linda" certainly was not a remake of "The Islander" but im going to see if i have a copy and listen to it and see if that song was in my subconcience for about 45 years.LOL. Hey Ralph and Richard you dont have to worrey about a remake of "Stamp Out The Beetles".I think its a little late for that.LOL P.S.Ralph i read your book and really enjoyed it.It really brought back some great memories that i totally forgot about from the "Sunliner" days. Those were some of the best and FUN days of our lives huh Ralph. I loved your book! Susie said to tell you that she is looking forward to meeting you some day, hopefully soon, and make sure you let us know if your in town; so we can hook-up. GOD bless.Gil
Yep i sure do remember Ralph. It was in the library on 7 mile rd.I still can visually remember you and Fred coming in to talk to me.The meeting was set up and i was there waiting for you guys.I cant remember if Russ was there or not.
Hi Ralph. You guys asked were we could meet and i suggested the library. Im not sure why except i think i just wanted you guys to think i was studious.LOL That was one of the very few times i was in a library. LOL Maby it was also because it was close to my parents house.
Gil, If you were trying to confirm your intelligence at that time it must have worked. You were always one of the smartest guys I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Plus, for openers you had the baddest 56 Ford Sunliner in Detroit. The fact that you played a hot sax was just frosting on the cake.
