I thought it was worth including this website because Johnnie Sue Bridges is Gil Bridges wife.  She has an interesting story of her own to tell through her book but her website contains material reference to Rare Earth in places.  For example the new Gil Bridges track.

Just wanted to also thank you guys(John and Richard) for the post on my wifes new book.She wasn't sure weather it was cool or not being that it didnt relate directly to Rare Earth.It's a terrific book and again thank you both for the post.
  P.S.There are many more sequel's to the book.She's just completeing the second book.Maby she will do mine in the future! Im thinking about titleing it "Rare Earth - The Real Story." LOL

Hey Ralph,we went to a party for Detroit DJ's a while back hoping to meet up with you cuz Millie Felch said you might be there.If you ever get to Detroit make sure you call us and we can hook up for dinner.If by some chance we get to Calif we will certainly call you and try to hook up.I think you were thinking of my ex wife whose name was also Susie. Of coarse my moms name was Susie also so there were a lot of Susie's in my life.LOL.Take care and God Bless. Gil

Haaaaa.... Yeah, too many Susies for this old dog to keep straight. I think I was in town at the time of that DJ thing but didn't get a chance to get out there. I seem to remember Millie telling me you were there. I was sorry I didn't make it. Next time we are so near I won't blow it.

Hello Rare Earth Fans

Just wanted to stop in and give ya the skinny on the Motown 50th Anniversary Celebration. First of all, Berry Gordy told Gil, (quote) You guys didnt get your just due. And we were just talking about that. I went back into book # 2 soon to be released Motown Girl Sister Golden Hair and devoted an entire chapter to these three events. The Motown Museum gathering of the alumni, and the street name change and dedication to Berry Gordy Jr Blvd, the Motown Jam Session at Arturos Jazz Theatre Restaurant, and the finale the Motown Gala. This was a historical series of events, and Gil and I were very blessed to be among all the wonderful talented people from Motown. I feel as though Mr. Gordy was very sincere in what he said to Gil. I know this meant a lot to Gil, and if it means that much to Gil, it makes me happy. Please go to www.rareearth.com and feel free to look at, take the photos to enjoy, or post. I do believe the photos are in the format to print nicely for you, but I have not had a chance to format the photos in their upright position as of yet. I will get to it very soon.

Thanks Susie for making this post. Im glad to see that Rare Earth Motown fans will be able to see our Motown's 50th Aniversary photos.You got some great great shots that im sure everyone will really enjoy. Anyone that wants to see them go to the rareearth.com link in my wifes post and click on media and enjoy. I really had a good time and certainly will be going to the next one.

Hi Gil and Johnie Sue

The photos are brilliant. I'm pleased you chose to share them.

Great to hear that Berry remembers Rare Earth and nice to see the Rare Earh record label logo on display. I see there is an Ecology logo too. I wasn't aware of an Ecology record label in the Motown empire. It al most features the prodigal design.

Looking forward to Brand New World. Doesn't sound like it will be ready for Christmas though?

Hi Rare Earth Worldsmile
Just wanted to let you know that last nights American Idol kids sang a very beautiful song about JESUS. That was wonderful seeing the kids give glory to our God. If we will embrace Jesus, and teach our kids about Him, perhaps we won't have the horrors of our kids doing such evil things that are being reported on the news, daily. Please pray for our youth of today, they need Jesus just as much as we do!
Also, American Idols new weekly Ford video was Rare Earth's "Celebrate"
