Hello to all in this great forum! I finally had to come here, because I haven't able to find any information in any place about what I would like to know. I have heard on the radio two or three times in my whole live (I am 47) a version of Get Ready which is a little faster and also about the same length of the "standard and classic" version. But it is different from the beginning to the end. It is also live, of course. I think I remember that the congas are played too. Can anybody tell me where can I found this performance and/or where it was? In advance, thank you very much.
Hello back! It was so simply the answer that I could not believe it. Well, I don't have neither know all Rare Earth LP's and/or recordings. Maybe that was why. Anyway I found my answer with someone --not from here--. Yes, what I considered the "official and classic" version of Get Ready is the one coming with the LP of the same name. The other, which I used to consider as the "alternative" version, is the one coming in the "In Concert" LP. Thank you anyway. Regards.
