Welcome to the new Steve though. I wasn't having a go at you, but just wanted to let you (and Ale IT) know that, contrary to what you might have understood, this site is not sending out CDs of RE recordings. I hope that won't deter you from joining us as we'd love to hear your thoughts on this great band!!!

Of course, sorry if I sounded overbearing.
Simply I like RE very much and I really loved the idea of someone finally putting 'em on CDs. Surely I'm not belivin' the site's going to send me copies of your work, and I'm not in the forum only for it (I found the link a couple of days ago, that's why this was my very first post).
I only meant that if there is a way to have some of RE lps on Cd I'd be happy to know it . P.S. I have "Fill your head, the studio albums", and (maybe 'cause I'm not such a conoisseur) I think the audio quality is quite good...
A big CANADIAN HELLO to Ale ITA and the new STEVE to a group of really cool people. If there are any questions concerning RARE EARTH these guys know the answer.I have found out more info from this bunch of die hard fans then you can shake a stick at.So don't be shy, jump in on any subject or start your own, you will soon find out as I did that they are not to weird, well maybe a little bit. As for myself,I know I'm weird that's why I fit in just ask UK DAVE about me and snow. Seriously though these are great people to associate with, I found that out very quickly. Hope to hear from you both again.
Al you've started me off singing Frosty the Snowman!!!
Great to have some Italian input. You only have to look on the other pages of this site to see that Rare Earth records were released all over the globe. You'll be fine as long as you don't write in big letters or own up to wearing high heels!!

Thank you Dave for giving me the hope of finding Lps, but, believe me, not so many people know about RE in Italy. All I have about 'em I found in some fair round Italy or in London (a great shop in Portobello!!!). Adaways I think this is quite fine, because the more you search for something the more you enjoy finding it. Last week I found Grand Slam and I can't stop listening to it!!! In any case, if you need for something I'd be happy to help you (even though I think that I'm gonna learn from you much more things about RE than you from me).
Just discovered this in 2014! I am trying to complete my Rare Earth collection, but it proves to be virtually impossible. Especially some rare items like Tight & Hot & Generations for example.
Therefore I am VERY interested in what I am reading here. If possible could Mike or somebody else get in touch we me to see how I can obtain some copies?
Thanks in advance,
Rick

PS Somewhere Mike wrote that some of the tracks of "Generation" ended up on Ecology. As far as I know only different versions (remixes) of those ended up on Ecology, correct?
