Browsing thru the book stores, I find books on just abt every artist I can remember, & some I can't remember. Why no books on Rare Earth? I realize it's been many years, many members, many ups & downs, but it sure would make compelling reading. I enjoyed Pete's book & I was left wanting more.
You should check out Ralph Terrana's book "Road Through Motown". It covers the foundations of what was to become Rare Earth, which is interesting in itself. However, it goes way beyond that and gives a great insight into Detroit and Motown. I can't recommend it highly enough.
I doubt they'll ever be another Rare Earth book, but there's everything you need to know about Rare Earth members (and label) within this site and the threads of this forum
