..Hi Rare Earth fans, sadly sadly,Doctor Honoris Causa in Music,Jon Lord, former Deep Purple keyboardist, passed away last july 16,2012,DEEP PURPLE is the group of my life, seems like a WIFE,a Woman of my life,do you mean?..then when Jon Lord died a great part of my life went down to his grave..the sounds fron the Hammond with Leslie Pearraux amplifiers area great model for the forthcoming keyboard players, incluiding the Rare Earth keyboards players like Mike Olson and anothers..the "married about hard and heavy rock and metal with Symphony music" was for him in september 24,1969 in the Royal Albert Hall with Symphony orchestra of London with the classic "Concerto for group and orchestra"..if Ritchie Blackmore is my "musical father"..Jon Lord was my "Godfather musical"..so long i can write about him..could be boring..with eddie Guzman,Mike Urso and Kenny James with cozy Powell,Ronnie James Dio,Jimi Hendrix, etc God in Heaven having the PERFECT MUSICAL TEAM with the great master JON LORD saying goodbye till next life..like Iron Maiden live classic album.."LIFE AFTER DEATH"...
totally agree with your sentiments Gustavo. The two best live double albums are surely Rare Earth In Concert and Deep Purple's Made in Japan.
I'm not too sure Mike Urso and Kenny James are ready to join your heavenly perfect team though. Last time I heard, they are both still alive and performing. I assume you meant John Persh and Mark Olson, so greatly missed along with Eddie.
..Excuse me about Rare earth former members death..Mark Olson,John Persch and eddie Guzman they are..excuse Mike Urso is sick or ill? is there any Rare earth members sick or inway to passed away?..
