What the hell is going on around the world, there has been another stage collapse this time in Belgium to go along with one here in Canada and one in the United States all with in a short period of time.I know weather was a factor in these events but there have been to many deaths to go along with this.Is it poor building materials, poor workmanship,or just that Mother Nature is stronger then we give her credt for?

I agree Al

These days it seems you can't pass wind without the need for a risk assessment or a permit to work. Mother Nature is more likely to blame. I was at a mini fetival a few years ago on a very fine day. All of a sudden I heard screams and a mini whirlwind hit from nowhere. I witnessed an unoccupied tent full of clothes and belongings take off from the ground and float off like a flying saucer 25 feet into the air. Other tent owners went off into nearby fields and recovered it before the owners returned. They could barely carry it between four of them. That was just an invisible tiny whirlwind so I can't imagine the power of a full blown tornado.

Two years ago there was a sudden mini tornado at another local festival that completely destroyed a stage and left people running for their lives. An investigation said there were no signs of faulty workmanship in the stage, it was just freak circumstances. It seems more common than we think.
