Rod was not a good fit for Rare Earth as we can see,Ray all the way...Rod seem to be more Jimi Hendrix type which not Rare Earth sound,Wayne baracks was the closets thing  too Mr.Ray Monette

I'm happy that Rod is playing again. I like his guitar style a lot. I think he'd benefit from a good lead vocalist though. His voice is ok but not outstanding.

No disrespect to Rod or Kenny (and I mean exactly that!) but I'm a Monette / Olson fan. I like what they brought to Rare Earth. As for Wayne, I presume Jim meant that Wayne is the closest thing to Peter rather than Ray, i.e. for the lead vocals.
