I was just pulling out the small poster from my old "In Concert" burlap bag album cover to have a look at it when some seeds and stems and particles fell out...I fondly remembered how I used to hide the stuff inside of some of my album jackets back then...now these are remnants that have been in there since the mid 70s since I haven't smoked for over 30 years! I actually had to wipe the tears out of my eyes because I remember what a very, very nice time that was....never to return again. But the music has remained in my soul!!!! I also found my old Rare Earth iron on t-shirt transfer that came with the One World album...REMEMBER THAT!!!? It is a simple black and white t-shirt transfer that just says "Rare Earth". Boy oh boy, that was an innocent time, a simpler time, and a better world back in the 70s.
Tony unfriggin' believable !!! I us to carry my rolled up "STUFF" inside the top of my cowboy boots. A plastic bag a little tape and there you go. A true story from those wild '70s. I was hitch hiking to town, we lived in the country when I was in highschool of course I had some "STUFF" in my boots, a car stopped and when I opened the door all I saw was the yellow stripe of a RCMP uniform.Yep a ghost car, lucky for me it was the days before drug dogs. Man I was relieved when we got to town, longest 20 minutes of my life. Good for a laugh now!
