I'VE BEEN USING DEAN MARKLEY BLUE STEEL STRINGS SINCE THEY CAME OUT. 9-42 GAUGE. THEY WERE A MAJOR IMPROVEMENT OVER WHAT WAS AVAILABLE.
I'D BE LUCKY TO GET 2 SHOWS OUT OF THE PREVIOUS STRINGS. I GET AT LEAST 7 FROM THE BLUE STEELS. I USE A LITTLE RUBBING ALCOHOL ON A CLOTH TO FRESHEN THEM UP AFTER EACH SHOW. GREAT TONE,AND THEY HOLD TUNING VERY WELL.

im going to start building soon, i will post you some pics when i have completed her,but im not in no rush as there is a lot of work involved,as you will see next year sometime,lets just say,she is going to be special and a work of art!
