Just wanted to say "Happy Christmas" to fellow Rare Earth fans. Not forgetting Peter, Gil, Ray, Ralph and Rod of course, and especially Richard and John who provide this excellent forum and website!!
Yes, where I live we only got about half an inch but ice has been the main problem.
Have a great Christmas and best wishes for the New Year. Same goes for John, Richard, Ralph, Peter, Ray, Gil, Mark M, Mike D, Steve B, Tommy, Jocko D, Gustavo etc etc.
Merry Christmas to everyone in the RareEarthWorld, I hope you all have a great time with family and friends.I raise a toast to you, my good friends from around the world.
Dave Now not to much Fullers Honey Dew this Christmas season.Merry Christmas buddy.
Al No Fullers I don't think. My Dad likes a pint or three, so I ordered a demipin (18 pints filled into a plastic bottle contained in a cardboard outer box). There was an offer on. Buy one get a second one at half price. We now have 36 pints of beer and as I'll be at work I've asked the brewery (Woodefords) to deliver it straight to my parents. My Dad will rejoice. My Mum will go ballistic LOL. It could cause a right Christmas bust up. But hey, my Father and I will be too intoxicated to care (either that or we'll be in Intensive Care with injuries inflicted by a Rolling Pin).
Dave I'm sitting here ( after a few adult beverges and it is only Monday) in awe, I can't believe the brewery delivers.Man oh man I wished Moosehead Breweries would deliver. My wife and I went to the liqor store or as it is tranlated in french (Alcoolnb, just love having a store that sells beer with my name on it)we spent $169.00 0n booze, and we had to carry it out to the our van. I was even able to squeeze in a bottle of Honey Dew.Gee I hope Santa doesn't get into my beer fridge.
Dave I was laughing so much last night after I read your fear of the rolling pin, I forgot to give you and your Dad some advice when your Mum comes after you guys, KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN, DON'T STOP MOVING,and above all TRY NOT TO SPILL ANY BEER!
Al The Brewery had a field on the online form which said "Instructions for courier if nobody is at home". I wrote "Place beer boxes on doorstep, knock on the door...AND RUN" :)))
Mike I just read the menu, sounds delicious. If you hear a sound outside your door in the middle of the night, it will not be Santa it will be all the guys from RareEarthWorld dropping by for dinner.

Except for Peter. He's going for a burger!! (Sorry Peter, had to get that one in!!
Hope he doesn't go after my Belgian Fritters, a batch with raisins and a batch without. They're like little muffins but fried up like pancakes. They're a little sweeter though. It's my grandmas recipe that came from her mom...almost a 100 yr old recipe if not older.
Just back from a Christmas party, with all the gifts, the beer, plenty of food, the Hawaii Bowl on TV and Dean Martin tunes it was a fine evening spent with good friends.
Many thanks Ralph. I hope you and your family have a great Christmas and New Year too. The same applies to Peter, Ray, John and Richard and all the Rare Earth posters who keep this forum alive!!
