Sad news indeed. I saw Jimmy Carl live twice, firstly when he was playing with The Grandmothers at a gig in Central London, then with his own band a few years back at the annual Gloucester(a major English town) blues festival, it was a very hot day, the whole days music was outside, so with a few beers, well I was on my holidays lol, I watched some great music, and Jimmy Carl and his band were brilliant.
