Ok folks...not much longer as I am trying desparately to wrap this damned project up, lol. I appreciate the help and patience of all here.
Here's one for you...
The "Generation" mix of Satisfaction Guaranteed. Listen closely as there are some not-so-subtle differences between this mix and the mix on Ecology. Have fun spotting the differences.
The percussion, claves, maracas, tamborine etc. are missing when the tune starts. The drum track is louder. Different vocal track in spots. Listen to that big, deep breath Peter takes before singing "Anytime you tell me..."( not to mention that that paer in particular is not the same vocal track as on the Ecology album) Sounds like one of the channels isn't coming through( left or right) during the guitar solo in the middle(which is highly overdubbed, anyway) so it's difficult to determine, completely. The word spoken at after the song is completed, which can clearly be heard on the Ecology album, is missing. Lots of different surprises. I love it!!!!!!
I love it! The whole thing seems to have a slightly slower feel to it (or maybe it's just me). Pete's vocals sound more mellow. The track sounds less commercial than the Ecology mix.
Anytime You Tell Me Baby, that's the time I'll come to you
Also, the uh huh's at 1:50 are further up in the mix. Rod's solo is different from the one on Ecology. The horns in this mix are further up too. You can really hear John Persh on trombone too. Pete's kick drum is up a little more too
*Mind you, youtube folds down audio to mono and compreses it too.
At the 3:36-3:39 mark:
Pete's "Satisfa-aaaaa-ction" is different.
The final seconds beginning at 4:27...there's no Rod audible on the ending. On The Ecology version, there's some guitar licks to close out the song. I think's that Rod we hear at the very end on the Ecology ...it sounds like he says "my hands hurt".

Steve,
Yes, Pete does let out a breath :) I missed that. Good ears!
Mind you, youtube compresses audio and folds it into mono. So, it is hard to hear it all clearly.
At the start of Rod's solo there's quick sound like DJ's make when they "scratch" vinyl...that "wicky wicky" sound. It sounds like Rod definitely dubbed a new solo for Ecology. And I actually prefer that solo...probably because I am used to it :)
And Kenny's organ is a little futher up in the mix on this version. His playing is very underrated imo.
