 It looks like Pete and I are finally getting the long stalled project underway. Tonight I fly down to L.A. to spend a few days with Pete to begin working out the songs we will be taking into the studio. I'm looking forward to this. It has been quite a while since Pete and I did any serious work together.

This is great news! Pete has been talking about this project for a couple of years now it seems.  Very exciting.  I will be seeing RE on July 7 and CR All-Stars on July 18. Can't wait to catch up with Pete and Gil.  Would love to see them communicate through the forum.

Any news on the recordings?

On your website a year ago or so you talked about a cd you completed but you was not sure if you would put it out, what happened with that?

Listening to the two tracks you did for the Motorcity/Ian levine project "Standing In The Rain" and "Talk To The World" makes me wonder if you enjoyed that project and what did you think about it?  For me they are the two best things from that project as the voice we all know was just stepping up another gear, thats no disrespect to Gil, Ray, Eddie and co for the Rare Earth tracks that also came out from that label.  The backing on those let the band down which was a shame, sounded as if they were tampered with.

We are in the very early stages of moving the project forward. New recording equipment was purchased by each of us so we could send things to each other as we work a song which will help alleviate our distance problem. In fact, I'm about ready to send Pete the initial track of the first song we are working on.

Also, this is the busy time of year for the Classic Rock All Stars so Pete is away much of the time.
