Ralph has already mentioned this but it is worth highlighting.

Check out Pete Rivera's website to see what his new band sound like by watching the video on there.  Peter's voice is fantastic, he still sounds so powerful.  I wonder if that video will get a dvd release?

John,
That particular video is strictly promotional. Maybe a little later as the group develops going into the studio will be a good idea.

Ralph,

Thats a shame for us fans but it looks a well filmed promo, I understand it is early days and we wish Pete the best of course.  Did you ever get Pete back in to the studio to finish off that track you told us about before?

No John. We haven't gotten into the  studio as of yet. Maybe when things settle down a bit. Pete and I have kicked the idea around that I may join Celebrate to play keyboards. Too early to tell at this point but it would be a blast playing with Pete again.

Ivor,
I just got off the phone with Pete. Things are in the very early stages with this band as it now stands. Various rehearsals are presently taking place with the back-up singers and specific musicians. Pete joins them the last two weeks of March for final rehearsals for the first gig in Puerto Rico, April 1st. That conscert will be videoed for further study. The ultimate end here is to end up with the best possible band. This will be an evolving process over the next few months.

Hi Ralph
Thanks for the info it will be interesting to see what happens with Pete.  I hope he knows what his fans think of him on here.  I enjoyed your book Ralph I found the Sunliners years to be of great interest, it seems all you guys got on really great.  There should be more info on this site about the band, after all it was Rare Earth.

Presumably Pete's old band Classic Rock All Stars are no more then? I know from your previous posts that its pointless asking any in depth questions about Celebrate as things are only just being put together and certain aspects will need to be kept under wraps no doubt. Sounds like an interesting project.

I still haven't ordered your book. I was due to visit London a couple of weeks ago and so I thought I'd buy it off the shelf rather than order via post. Sadly I couldn't find a store that had a copy in stock. I'm down there again next week. If I get the same result I'll definitely revert to ordering off Amazon.

Ivor,
I'm thrilled that you enjoyed my book. Yes, we in The Sunliners did get on very well with each other. When we weren't on stage we hung together. It was quite an experience.

Dave,
The Classic Rock Allstars will stay together. The deal is that what ever group gets the gig first, that is the one that will get the appearence. Pete will do both for the time being until Celbrate gets off the ground.

Hi Ralph
I hope that deal works out. I'm now in two bands and just an hour ago I got a phone call from one guy complaining about who should have priority. Originally one band had priority for Fridays and the other (longer established) band for Saturdays, but this guy now wants a slice of the Saturdays cos thats when more work is available.

I see major arguments ahead. Maybe thats the answer...whoever gets the gig first!

Re Celebrate, for some reason I can't download the video at present. Its really encouraging to hear the positive comments though!

Dave,
I think if you stick with the first come first served arrangement it will ward off many arguments.

Well: Just got back from P. Rico and the show was a blast! We played in the Rain Forest for a corporate affair. Everyone had a great time and the band was hot. We had rehearsed for weeks and just to finally get to the point of the show was so intense. The girls were slammin and I can't even tell you how much fun it was coming out front and singin with this big group of fine musicians. I was drenched after the show. I want to do more ! Celebrate is a show that will not compete with The Classic Rock All Stars as it takes a lot more production than the All Stars. Celebrate is a dream of mine and I hope to have bookings for it that mainly centers on the Corporate Market. The All Stars are more of a festival type show. I love doing both. Thank you all for your interest. Check out www.revealingrainforest.com  Of course we had a bigger stage built for the show.  Peter

That set list is mouth watering. How can a band go wrong with a repertoire like that?

Glad its up and running Peter. At some stage in the future I hope you get around to releasing a DVD so we can see the results in the UK.
